Day 1 Srinagar – Sonmarg – Kargil (205 kms)
After an morning tea and sumptuous breakfast ,drive to one of the most exhilarating and beautiful drive in the world ,Srinagar to Leh via Kargil and road passes through the panoramic village to reach Sonmarg (2740 mtrs) , which follows up with lush green fileds on both the sides After Sonmarg the road is mostly rough and wet to Zojila pass 3527 mtrs (Gateway of Ladakh) mostly covered with snow and the drive continue towards Drass (the second coldest inhibited place in the world) were we stop for refreshments and passport check. Another few hours drive will take us to Kargil (2710 mtrs) which is our mid way to Leh. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Kargil – Leh (235 kms)
A full day drive , a transition from green valleys to barren stark mountains of ladakh . Today we ascend few passes and experience the first Buddhist village ,Mulbek , the gaint statue of Matreyabuddha , believed to be naturally existed . We cross the highest pass (Fotula 4166 mtrs.) reaching Lamayuru village and have our lunch and later we will be at Lamayuru oldest Monastery. Continue drive through the lower valleys of ladakh ( shyam ) with crossing village like basgo ,Nimu a view of Zanskar River following into Indus and the confluence and ultimately we reach Leh (3500 mtrs). Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Leh /Nubra Valley via Khardongla. 125km.
After an early breakfast ,drive to beautiful NubraValley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) with the zigzag trail continues and drive till Hundar village. On arrival check in Nature’s nest North camp. Afternoon enjoy the beauty of sand dune and double hump camel. Overnight at Nature’s Nest North Camp or similar…
Day 4 Hunder /Diskit/ Pangong via Shayok
Today , we get up early morning visit to Diskit monastery and have wonderful view of Nubra valley. Drive to Pangong lake via Shayokvalley . Enjoy the turquoise color panoramic lake and the magnificent mountains and landscapes which will leave you awestruck . Spent your afternoon enjoy the beauty of Pangong lake and later Check in the camp .Overnight Hotel.
Day 5 Pangong Lake/Leh
Today after early breakfast , start your journey towards Leh via changla . Visit thiksey Monastery ansShey Palace .Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6 Leh /Serchu
After your breakfast at Leh drive through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Lunch at Pang. After Lunch drive to Serchu passing through SkyangchuThang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and Indus Valley. Upon arrival in Serchu you’ll met by our representative and check in at our Hotel.
Day 7 Serchu/Manali
Today we start our journey to Manal from Serchu. Today we cross Rohtang Pass (3978 m), Keylong (3350 m), BaralachaPass (4890m) with overnight stopover at Sarchu (4253 m), border of the states of Himachal Pradesh (Lehaul) and Jammu & Kashmir (Ladakh).
